Here is the last recipe of my detox, an avoda soup, quite unexpected when you’re used to eat avocado raw like me.
I am a bit disapointed, maybe because I love avocados so much. But the mix of avocados and lemon is definitly something you can also drink at this time of year.
The choice of the avocados is the most important thing! Otherwise your soup won’t have any taste.
So my detox officially stopped on Sunday/Monday, but I sill have some recipes to share with you.
It’s funny because I have never really been a big fan of cooking and have never been good at it, but these last month, I started trying out new things and experimenting a little bit, which made it all much more interesting.
I have to say, having a strict eating routine, like having allergies or beeing a vegan, kind of obligates you to be creative and always look for “some other ways” to prepare something. And that’s what I like: Making the betst out of a situation, it’s kind of my moto in life, and it always helps seeing things positively and evolve.
So back to our green juice, it was the first time ever I drank a green juice. Well, I knew it was very trendy in NY (so many “weird” things start in NY haha) and since I am very curious, I tried it: Kiwi, green apples, cucumber, mint and ginger.
It’s delicious! Try it and let me know what you think!
Hope you’re having or starting a great sunday. Wow the sun came out here, what makes me really happy since I redid my whole balcony yesterday, so I’ll definitly be able to enjoy it today! Pictures to come!
Today is also DAY 5 of my DETOX, yes yes I made it through the first 3 days, which I was always told are the hardest ones. Well, I have to say, I am kind of hungry all the time, but I still manage to keep strong, and tell myself “ah come on, it’s only for a few days!”. And it works!
I still don’t know if I should continue for a few more days. What do you think? Or is 5 enough? (Please say yes )
No but seriously I feel great, my belly if flat 24/7, and I fell kind of “light”. And I still try to work out on the side.
So here is my next recipe for you: A green pea soup. Really good and I rather drink soups in the evening when I am really hungry.

So, i always wanted to make a detox, you know those few days spent drinking only juices (and soups) that are so famous in NY.
They are most of the time very expensive, but when you see how much time and energy intensive it is to prepare all this, you king of understand the price to pay!
Well today is a holiday here in Germany (and most countries I think), so I decided to make myself a very healthy day, only preparing some great juices and soups.
This blueberry/coconut smoothie was very nice for breakfast and very easy to make.Put it all in a bowl and mis. Easy right? So no excuses! Go for it!
New cleansing recipes coming up next!
I tested a new breakfast recipe this morning, and when you have 2 people to feed including one very hungry one you have to do something that’s more than just a fruit salad. And since we are real fans of eggs, we often tend to try somethig with them. This way you have vegetables and protein for your day.
We actually spent the afternoon renovating some old furniture for the terrace. Will show it all to you when it’s done!
Hope you enjoy the recipe! Let me know what your favorite ones are!
