° SEE : VIENNA °

Just bought a new batterie cable! So I’m back :) Wanted to post this yesterday but our cable kind of died and my batterie didn’t last long enough for me to finish this…

So as you might know, I had the chance to spent some time in Vienna, Austria last week, and it was actually the first time I was so far east in Europe. Cause, after all Vienna is more far away then we think.

With all it’s history and beautiful buildings, I couldn’t wait to explore the city, eat Sacher Torte (traditional chocolate cake) in some old coffee houses, see the “Reitschule” and some “Sisi castles”…

If you’re all about history and culture, you’re gonna be well served in Vienna, which stayed very typical and old Europe like. It’s a sweet mix of the east and the west of Europe, full of memories.

I was a bit disapointed by the lack of “more modern” places, and found more tourists than cool young people, which can be a bit frustrating for such a big city.

But still, totally worth it! Plus, we found some great wines from the region and didn’t hesitate to bring some back home, bingo!

Folie1

Hope everyone had a great week end and a wonderful start in your week!

I don’t know about you but I am so grateful to be able to see some blue sky again! You won’t believe it but yesterday and today, there were no clouds, I wore no coat and even took out my sunglasses. I know! Unbelievable! ;)

And that, 2 days in a row! Wow

What?! You don’t believe me?! Check out yesterday’s photos taken before driving home from Austria (at the Walchsee).

Have a great evening!

Finally the pictures of last week end (The Easter week end), where I spent time in Austria skiing and enjoying the (hopefully) last snow of the year with my family.

So we were in Saalbach-Hinterglemm (near Zell am See and not far away from Salzburg), and stayed at the Hotel Edelweiss. Out stay was made of skiing, eating in little chalets (Rosswaldhütte, Wieseralm…), crossed the very high Baumzipfelweg and spending time in the open air jacuzzi and spa. Can’t complain!

It was a good opportunity to catch the first rays of sunshine of the season. Even got a little color on my face wow! :)

How did you spend the long week end? Well, I can’t wait for the next one to come!

Finally the last pictures of last week end, where we “forced” ourselves to get out and get some fresh freezing air.

We drove about 45 minutes and found ourselves at the Tegernsee. People from Bavaria will find this post very boring since most people drive there as soon as the sun comes out, but for us, it is still quite exotic since we only live in Munich since 3 years! :)

It’s really worth it, but our next time will definitly be during the summer time.

So now, we are off to the moutains, to enjoy some family time on skis. You know drinking Glühwein and eating Apfelstrudel with some whipped cream on the side. Huum!
