I wanted to share something with you, that has been going through my head these weeks when I see the prices of bracelets and necklaces in nice individual stores. As soon as you get into a stylish little store, everything seems to be 2x as expensive as usual, just because it seems exclusive*.

I really started thinking that nowadays, it’s really “lucrative” to make these friendship bracelets and all by yourself + it’s really “in” at the time. So I started looking, and getting all the stuff I needed to start this new “hobby”.

Well it is a long list when you get all this for the first time, and I wouldn’t buy too much if you don’t plan on doing a least 2-3 bracelets, since you have to buy everything in big quantities. But the result is really cool, and no one will ever charge me 25€ for a friendship bracelet again (hopefully)! *THIS is what I call exclusive.

Yes, that’s my conclusion: Creativity is really expensive these days, so I’d rather DIM (Do It Myself). (Wise isn’t it? )

PS: The good thing is when you start, you get plenty of ideas about other things you might decorate/create/improve at home or in your wardrobe. Love it!

All bracelets made myself, except the light purple one (Cruciani), the white one (Monoprix), the one with the pink perls (from Istanbul) and the neon ones (COS).
