It’s been a long time since I updated you about the fashion industry, telling you all what’s going on. So here we go. Enjoy!

The fashion group LVMH grows a lot at the moment, especially thanks to its fashion brands. Business is going well in the USA and in Asia, and is also selling quite well in Europe even though the economic situation is still not that good. The group’s sales grew up to 25% which is a lot!
Brands working really good are Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and Céline. The jewellery segment also increased since LVMH acquired Bulgari last year. We also cannot forget Sephora (I miss that in Germany) and Le Bon Marché who also take part in these great results.
I also read that were some rumors about the group being interested about Douglas…

COS is opening its first store in Austria and more precisely in Vienna in Autumn this year. The brand is expendaing really quickly and will open some store in Poland, Hong Kong, Finland, Italy and others.

Barbour will open a store in Munich. For fans of hunting and fishing ☺ go nuts!

Roberto Cavalli will open its first own store in Asia, in Bejing. It will be a 300 square meters store on 2 levels.

Armani is planning on opening 20 new stores in India. Between Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani and Armani Jeans, the brand is expading thanks to its new partner Genesis Luxury Fashion who will take care of their wholesale business over there.

H&M will also open a mega store in Mexiko, and will herewith penetrate the Mexican market for the first time. It will open in the big Shopping Center from Santa Fe, where Escada also opened a new store last year.
