THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Part 2)

Here are some more pictures about our second day in the mountains. We stayed at the lovely Hotel Edelweiss in Hinterglemm, Austria. If you check out the facebook fanpage of Be. Get. See., you might see some more pictures taken on sunday.

We went for lunch on top of one mountain (with our normal clothes, which felt really weird) and enjoyed the view. Here are some of the best moments for you!

THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Part 1)

This post is all about last winter feelings. We went to Austria for the week end to spend some time with the family and get out of the city for a bit, get some fresh air.

At first it was kind of hard to leave the sping like weather from Munich to go back to snowy landscapes, but it was good! We first went to Salzburg, where I always love strawling around its cute streets. The best time to go there is before Christmas, they have to best Christmas market there!

The city is surrounded by mountains, which make it even more interesting since you see that rarely, and in less than an hour, you find yourself in the mountains, skiing and having one of their famous Apfel Strudl in the sun.

Best coffee delivery ever on our way to Austria.

MOVIE TIP OF THE WEEK: INCEPTION

For those of you who think that sundays’ TV programs are boring and way less interesting than a good movie in original version, I highly recommend Inception – for those who haven’t seen it, but also for those who, like me, didn’t understand 100% of the movie the first time they saw it.

My boyfriend once asked me to tell its story in one sentence… Not that easy. You should try! :)

Have a really nice sunday!

WOODEN HANDICRAFT

One of the best things about going to the country side during the week end, is that you can bring back home some cool wooden elements to decorate your house/appartment. If you’re a bit creative (and have the right tools) you can even build more complicated things like this ladder we made from scratch. It has actually revealed itself very useful too!

Wood is always great to establish more peaceful corners where you normally only have cables and electronic devices like here next to our television + I love the color of wood and the warn & cosy atmosphere is creates.

It’s also quite nice to mixe wood with some more modern elements, like these plastic hooks for our jackets.

DODGY CORNER

There is an old train station next to my appartment (outside) that I always found quite interesting since it’s completly abandoned now.

You basically have the entrance of the station (now in a park) guiding you to the railway downstairs, which has now been invaded by trees and other wild plants.
